The Fair Ridge Recreation Association (FRRA), a separate association, operates and maintains most of the recreational facilities in Fair Ridge. FRRA Board. The FRRA meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Fair Ridge Club House. The FRRA operates an outdoor swimming pool from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. 2007 Season Swimming Pool Hours MON. & FRI. 11 AM to 8 PM TUES. & THUR. 11 AM to 9 PM WEDNESDAY 10 AM to 8 PM SATURDAY 11 AM to 9 PM SUNDAY 11 AM to 8 PM HOLIDAYS 11 AM to 8 PM Note: The pool will close at 6 PM on July 4th and will close 1 hour early on Labor Day (Monday). Information on obtaining pool passes can be obtained from Cardinal Management (703.591.1818). The 2007 Pool Membership Application and 2007 Children’s Swim Contract are posted on the Documents page of this website. Fair Ridge Club House - rent it for your party! The Club House is available for rental to all Fair Ridge residents. The rental fee is $75 for Friday - Sunday and holidays, and $50 for Monday - Thursday. The rental agreement form can be found on the Documents page of this website. Fair Ridge Playgrounds. There are two major playgrounds in the Fair Ridge community. One is located on Fair Ridge Drive, next to the pool. This playground is maintained by the FRRA. A second playground is located behind Sleepy Lake Court and is maintained by the FRCA. Fair Ridge Tennis Courts. There are tennis courts maintained by the FRRA at the south end of Fair Ridge Drive near Monument Drive. Access to the FRRA Tennis Courts is by key. Fair Ridge residents may obtain a key to the tennis courts from Cardinal Management(703.591.1818). There is a $1 key charge. There are also tennis and basketball courts in the Fair Ridge County Park just off of Meadow Field Drive. * All FRRA Documents posted on this website on the Documents page are current as of April 2007. Parking on FRRA Property. There are two parking lots on FRRA property, at the swimming pool and at the tennis courts. Parking in these lots is subject to the FRRA Parking Policy which is posted on the Documents page of this website. This is a separate parking policy from the FRCA Parking Policy (also posted on the Documents page of this website). |
